I watched "The Gorgon" this morning. While certainly not the best screen version of the creatures from Greek mythology, it's still an entertaining movie.

Just watched The Severed Arm again.  I remember first seeing it years ago and being horrified when the guys trapped in the mine were rescued, considering what they had just done.

Re-watching all these years later, I laughed at the situation -- it was like something you'd see in Monty Python (or the South Park episode where they were snowed in and kept eating people).
They're going to make you one of them, my peacock!

Hey All,

Since this is the Halloween Season, I've had my DVD player on overtime.
Earlier this week was Halloween ('78), House of Dracula and Scars of Dracula.
Tonight is Salem's Lot (the 3 hour fest) and
Halloween Night: Dracula ('31) The Mummy ('32) and 30 Days of Night.

Happy Halloween!

I just watched the remake of Journey to the Center of the Earth in 3D.I enjoyed the effects
and think that the process has improved quite a bit over the years.

On Halloween I saw PART of 30 Days of Night, SleepWalkers, Little Shop of Horrors, and Lost Boys.  The only one I got to watch completely was 28 Days Later.

Earlier in the week I watched Lost Boys: The Tribe.  Avoid this one.

I decided to watch some of the DVDs I've accumulated recently but hadn't watched yet, so tonight I watched :
Sleepy Hollow
Rosemary's Baby
Thinner
"Sleepy Hollow" and "Rosemary's Baby" are both decent Halloween viewing. I was a little let down by "Thinner", but at least I finally got to see it. It's one of several Stephen King films I'd never seen before.

Last Night, I watched "Die, Monster Die!" on TCM.  It was....okay.  Nick Adams is not a particular favorite.
