No doubt! Mine is only 7 miles away.

We have one called the "Midway" about an hour away. I used to go to it 2 or 3 times a year until about 4 years ago. They got so greedy they sold what they called a "food pass" for $10 to allow people to bring in outside food without getting kicked out after they paid for tickets. They claim they exist solely on what they sell at the concession stand. I guess they disregard the $10/person they charge to get in. They went up on the concession food prices substantially. They also put in two extra screens so that everyone is crammed in. It used to be a good place. The old guy who used to run it must have retired and whomever took over is trying to get rich by ruining a good place. I won't go there again.

The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920) - an amazing classic looking great on blu-ray with a new jazzy, abstract score. It comes as a 4k disc, plus a blu-ray version. So, technically, I've purchased my first 4k disc. If/when my blu-ray player stops working, I'll get a 4k player. I like when they give you both formats on 2 discs, like when it was blu-ray plus dvd.

Invaders From Mars (1953) on Sven. He featured the new Blu-ray print. It looks fantastic. I just ordered the Blu-ray on Amazon. It was down to $31.00 and looks to have all the extras. I know they also released a blu-ray without the extras, so I'm hoping it's not mislabeled.

Grabbed a few from the "F" section.  It was just a coincidence that they were all sci-fi and in chronological order.

The Fly, 1958 - The classic.  I hadn't seen it in a long time.  I think it holds ups really well for an old-timer.

The Fly, 1986 - I had forgotten that it was a Cronenberg film.  I did remember that it had uncomfortable physical effects.  I've always had trouble with the Geena Davis character wanting to stick around as he transforms. When I saw it in the theater, the birth scene really upset a few of the women in the audience.  (I hope they weren't pregnant.)

Forgotten, 2004 - A woman is grieving a lost child that everyone begins telling her she never had - even her husband.  The detective played by Alfre Woodard has a rather dramatic exit.

Fourth Kind, 2009 - Several Nome, Alaska citizens are being plagued by nightmares they can't remember.  A psychiatrist tries to help them with hypnosis.

Not me.

All 4 movies were sci-fi.  The last two play up the mystery aspect and make you wonder what the hell is going on.  That's why I didn't want to give details for anyone who hasn't seen them yet.
