Joker~Taxi Driver and Falling Down meets the Crown Prince of Crime mythos; I even noticed a little Kubrick Shining in there.

Sounds great! Taxi Driver is one of my favorites. I'm glad it's not another over-the-top comic book action schlocker.

AAAAlllllmost done with Star Trek: Deep Space 9.  This is my first dedicated watchthrough of it.  I watched it regularly when it was comingout and in re-runs, but there were definitely episodes I missed.  So it's nice to see all that.  I've gone through the original series (Which I'd never really watched) and The Next Generation in their entirety.  Trying to decide if I want to watch Voyager after this.  I'm probably going to finish the Animated Series first, as that's all new to me too.

 Orphan  (2009) -
A recent, sensational news story had me revisiting this great, modern horror film. A couple with kids decide to adopt a third one. As time passes, it appears that the new child is trying to kill them. There is a twist so bizarre, I would never suspect it happening in real life. I won't spoil it, for those who haven't seen it. Starring the lovely Vera Farmiga and real-life husband, Peter Sarsgaard. Trust me, it's great.

3 From Hell~Unnecessary final(?) entry in the Firefly franchise.  Alright for a one time watch but House of 1000 Corpses and Devils Rejects are all one really needs.

 Joker (2019)  -
Excellent film! I can see why people compare it to Taxi Driver. At least it's not another dumb superhero movie. Kudos to Joaquin Phoenix.

Yesterday the family watched (per the wife's request):

MASQUE OF THE RED DEATH
WITCHFINDER GENERAL
DRAGONWYCK (not horror, but she wanted to get EVIL Vincent out of her head)
