The other night I watched "The Fog" (1979) and liked it better than any other time I've watched it. My 10-year old daughter has been watching a lot of "The Addams Family" tv series and my soon to be 9-year old son has been watching a lot of "Ultraman" and watched "Godzilla vs Megaguirus" while he was home sick from school today.

Picked up the "First Official Season" of One Step Beyond. It looks fantastic compared to the public domain prints that have been the only way to see it since the 60's. Kudos to CBS for releasing this. No monsters per se, but John Newland had a creepy presence as the host and was a pretty good director. Also got Shaun of the Dead on blu-ray.

The Vampire Effect- a Martial Arts movie about two Vampire slaying girls, plenty of Martial Arts action, the Vampires are cheesy looking.
I give it a 3 outta 5 stars, just for the Martial Arts.
