"They come from the bowels of hell; a transformed race of walking dead. Zombies, guided by a master plan for complete domination of the Earth."

Lazarus

Love Death + Robots on Netflix.  Adult animation anthology.  Some are better than others, but I quite like it.  The animation varies wildly, but all of it is done well.

Memphremagog

Edison's Frankenstein(1910)
Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari(1920)
Terror Of Mechagodzilla(1975)
DARK SHADOWS:

David Collins: "Dead people dont just get up and walk around.."

Sarah Collins: "Sometimes they do."

The Devil Bat (1940). Not bad, not bad at all.

Mord

Scream (the T.V. series) -

What can one expect from an MTV production? Not as horrible as it could have been. There are a few decent scenes hampered by millennial vacuousnes (think The Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew meet Ghostface). Watchable, if you have nothing else.

Starman, 1984 - Alien comes to earth in response to Voyager Satellite - encounters complications.

Jeff Bridges and Karen Allen.

This lighthearted look at alien encounter explores various possible human reactions to such a situation.  Bridges delivers such an interesting turn portraying the alien, it is easy to overlook a fine performance from Karen Allen.

The Shout Factory Blu-Ray includes 2 featurettes and a commentary by Director John Carpenter and Jeff Bridges.  Hard to believe PETA stood by and let them drug the deer.  (I wonder if they could do that today?)

Warm-hearted, feel-good sci-fi.  It always leaves me with a warm heart.
