Hey Creeper, how is it? I was thinking about putting it on my NetFlix. I met her at a convention last year.

I finally got my copy of the new DVD set "Icons of Sci-Fi: Toho Collection" in the mail today, so I've been watching both versions of "Mothra" this evening.

I like how this is the only Dracula movie I've seen that shows what happens to the crew of the Detemer. Creepy.

edit. I still haven't seen the '79 version with Klaus Kinski, NetFlix says its a long wait.

I think I watched the House Of The Wolfman trailer about 500 times already, after that I recently watched a really bad copy of White Zombie...its on dvd but man the audio is horrible!

Starship Troopers.  My boyfriend read the novel and he found this movie in the bargain bin; I was put off by the gore, but that is what we need to know about war.   War is gore.  I was glad to see what a good satire of fascism and militarism the film is.  It also leaves one a bit conflicted at the end; we love the heroes (well... I have to admit I did not like Carmen -- at all) and we want to see them vanquish the bug invaders; yet at the same time we are horrified at what our own society and world has turned into.   Plus, didn't humans invade the bug worlds first?

It is based on the original Starship Troopers novel by Robert A. Heinlein.

It's not bad but it isn't great.  It has the original Leatherface, Gunner Hanson in it, and Herschal Gordon Lewis.  Not sure if I spelled their names right though.

Just watched Young Frankenstein!
