Jack the Giant Killer (1962) The version I saw was the non-musical version. I read on wikipedia that it had been released as a musical, to avoid a copyright infringement with "The 7th Voyage of Sinbad". I have no idea why making it into a musical, would have avoided copyright infringement.
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?

It was reissued in the '70s for the kiddie matinee market and that's when it was turned into a musical.

Cyborg 2087, 1966 - Time travel story about going back in history to prevent current conditions.

Michael Rennie, Karen Steele, Warren Stevens, Wendell Corey, Harry Carey, Jr., Jo Ann Pflug (watch quick) and Chubby Johnson.

A total rip-off of Terminator II, only it was made 25 years earlier.  (Say, maybe there is something to this time travel business.)

Made embarrassingly cheaply.  Originally intended to go directly to TV but released to theaters, instead.  Movie serial-quality costumes, props and acting.  But, hey - It's got Chubby Johnson!

Fun if you, like me, appreciate this sort of thing.  Painfully slow for normal people.

The Houses October Built.

I dunno.  I think found footage just isn't for me.   These people are always so stupid.

Wow! A '60s movie set in the future that's still in the future! They're usually set in the far flung future of 1985, or something.  ;D

The Blood On Satan's Claw (1971)  8/10

My favorite Tigon flick. Fairly dripping with the Horror-Mood. The music fits the Horrorsphere perfectly. Love that Angel Blake.  ;)

Jeepers Creepers (2001)  6/10

Fun flick, if a bit repetitive with the Creeper chasing the brother/sister prey up and down "the 9" a bit Scooby-Dooishly. The brother is the usual dunderhead and the sister, though somewhat annoying, is hot so is more tolerable (sexist remark? I call it honesty). The Creeper is a novel beastie and pretty cool at that. I like the way he posed as a normal "serial killer" type at the beginning. The ending is refreshing...if you are a monster, or us.

Jeepers Creepers II (2003)  6.5/10

I like this one better than the first, maybe because I saw it at the drive-in on a cool fall night and bought the poster from the head honcho in the projection building for 3 bucks. The high school sports team fighting off the Creeper in the broken down school bus is fun, as is the vengeful farmer with the home-made harpoon gun. Ending is interesting. Check it out and watch #1 first...duh?.

Thanks for the word on THE NUN, Geezer. My daughter and I love THE CONJURING films too and also the related ANNABELLE series, so it's good to hear you liked it. We'll be sure to go now.

Hey no worries. I know the critics are taking shots at the Nun, but what do they know? I mean I agree, Conjuring I and II and Annabelle Creation are much better, but still, I thought the Nun was pretty entertaining.

The Nun~It isn't reinventing the wheel but I enjoyed it.  Lots of gothic atmosphere, a pinch of been there done that Exorcist, plenty o' jump scares.  Fun flick to catch entering into this Halloween season.
