Redo of "The Devil Bat", with Geo. Zucco filling in for Lugosi and Aztec god "Quetzalcoatl" filling in for the bat.

Revenge of the Zombies (1943) at Dailymotion

At least this one had some zombies in it, though not much else, besides the familiar cast.

John Carradine was a little too subdued, as the Nazi/mad scientist. I wish he had hammed it up a bit! Robert Lowery ("Batman" serials) as the hero. Gale Storm ("My Little Margie") as the love interest. Mantan Moreland as the comedy relief. Bob Steele as a Nazi henchman (or is he?). And James Baskett ("Song of the South") as the lead zombie.

The plot? It's a Monogram zombie movie! Go kill an hour and watch it.

Especially all those illusive Republic horror features!
