Willard (1971)  6/10

I've known about this drive-in classic since I was a kid but had never watched it until I received the new Scream Factory Blu ray recently. I like the film giving it 6/10, and the Blu ray release is excellent. It's fun to see some familiar faces from that period like Elsa Lanchester (Lanchester...I don't know why so many people insist on calling her Lancaster, even genre fans  ::)), Ernest Borgnine, and Sondra Locke. Some parts are a little slow with the annoying neighbors padding things a bit, but overall it's an enjoyable flick.

Leonor (1975) (aka Mistress Of The Devil)  6/10

Good Eurohorror vampire movie with Liv Ullman. Well acted and written. Could have used some spicing up, but a solid effort.

Son Of Dracula is one of the best horrors all around of the 1940's and it is one of Universal's stronger efforts. It has a noirish/Southern gothic feel to it that creates a lot of atmosphere. The cast is one of the better ones of the later Universals and despite the shortcomings of Chaney's Count, he still manages to do more with the character than John Carradine does in the later HOUSE films.

I even enjoy Carradine's performances, but I agree with you. Lots of atmosphere and creepy scenes. Particularly in the relationship with Alucard and Louise Allbritton's character. Fun flick.

Mord

Babysitter Wanted  - VERY similar to "House of the Devil", with Bill Moseley actually playing a good guy for a change. Enjoyable enough.

I really wanted to see this back in the day.
The Scream Factory Blu ray is highly recommended. You can grab one for around $20.
