I have both of those, as well. Excellent! Nice extras!

Ruby (1977)

Kiss Of The Tarantula (1976)

I saw Ruby at a drive-in double feature in '77 with The Devil's Wedding Night (1973). Nothing really stood out in my memory about Ruby except the crappy song  ;D. But, I really enjoyed The Devil's Wedding Night and it later contributed to my becoming a huge Eurohorror fan. I remember I was with my parents on a trip to Gatlinburg and after we rented the motel room we decided to go to a movie. In the newspaper ads I saw the double feature playing in a nearby town called Maryville. Somehow I talked them into going to it. We usually went to family friendly Westerns and the like so my mom was not amused with the nudity and lesbian antics in The Devil's Wedding Night:laugh: I remember trying to calm her down by saying "vampires will do anything".  ;D That certainly didn't help. Anyway, my dad seemed to enjoy it. Good times for a teenage Monsterkid.  :)

It is a great value! I bought it for Valley Of The Dragons and The 27th Day. Valley is cheezy but fun.  :)

Yes! And the prints are really good.  I had seen VALLEY OF THE DRAGONS years ago, BATTLE IN OUTER SPACE and maybe THE H-MAN or 12 TO THE MOON. Not sure, but I know I'd never seen THE 27TH DAY.  It's so much fun to finally see older films which somehow escaped you all these years.  It was never on our local TV.  I thought the story was pretty interesting.

Shadow: Dead Riot (2006)

Fun Horror/Martial Arts/WIP flick starring Tony Todd and Carla Greene. Misty Mundae has a minor role (as Erin Brown). Bill Hinzman even shows up briefly as one of the zombies (or Zuvembies as Brother Voodoo used to say  Zombie LOL). Filmed in PA. aka The Zombie Capitol Of The Freakin' World.

Anything with Misty Mundae is worth a look.  ;)

I am going to pretend this thread is named "Last Monster/Horror/Sci-Fi Movie/Fantasy Show You Watched".

Just like last year, many years before and, if I don't drop dead in the meantime, next year, I will be watching one of my favorite fantasy films of all time - twice.  I will watch it straight and then again with the Director's Commentary.

Groundhog Day - 1993

How I love this movie.  We are lucky to have Harold Ramis' informative commentary.  Wish this sweet man was still with us.  He always seemed to have a slightly bemused look on his face.

I have to admit, I love Misty. She has this great, "girl next door" vibe. I have a boxed set of her low budget films called Girl Seduction. The films aren't great, but she makes them watchable.

Yep!

I have a VHS copy of Lust In The Mummy's Tomb (2000) that I burned to disc a few years ago.

Let me tell you this film is shamefully filthy and really nothing more than an exercise in exploring animalistic sexual pleasure in the most tawdry way possible. Now mind you it took several viewings to arrive at this opinion (including utilizing Rewind and Pause quite frequently), and I'm still not absolutely certain so I suppose I'll have to continue to investigate until I can arrive at a totally accurate assessment (or until the tape and DVD give out).

I'm so glad that you're still serving as our watchdog, protecting us from this vile filth. I will try to help out, but my freeze-frame button always gets stuck on Misty's shower- masturbation scenes.

You can always include fantasy films, because they pretty much all are.

Too bad Forry's Imagi-Movies term never caught on because we need a quick easy way to refer to all of the genres of the fantastic.
