Traditionally this was one of my least fav Dracula movies, but it's grown on me over time. I enjoyed watching it last night.

I had the exact opposite reaction when I recently watched it. I really can't stand Langella's disco/Travolta/Dracula look.

LMAO! Now I can't stop thinking about Tony Manero playing Dracula or the Count going to club Space Odyssey.

I agree, it's clear they were marketing the film toward the female demographic. They say as much on the xtras. Langella is the reason I've struggled w/this film in the past. But watching it the other night, I found some other redeeming aspects. I like the movie's sense of scale and atmosphere. I also like the vampire Mina and Lucy---simple, yet effective special effects.
