Phantom Stranger

"Attack Of The 50 Foot Woman" (1958)
-Allison Hayes

Plot: IMDB
Nancy Archer is a rich socialite who is unhappily married to husband Harry who left her once but came back to her when he needed money. It hasn't stopped him from continuing his affair with Honey Parker and Nancy knows it. After a confrontation at a local bar, Nancy takes off in her car and has an encounter with a large sphere on the road. There have been rumors of UFOs in the area but no one will believe her. After a second encounter, Nancy grows to an amazing size. More than enough to get her revenge.
Phantom's Review: What can I say that hasn't already been said about this film?
It is one of the most iconic BAD movies ever made. Wonderfully cheesy FX. Over the top (no pun intended) acting and a goofy as Hell plot. Highly enjoyable fare for a Bad Movie Night.

I watched "Eegah!" a week or two ago on Movie Macabre (I think that's what it's called) with Ivana Cadaver.

"Zone Troopers", 1985.

Does that count?  Should it be ruled pure comedy or can it be considered Sci-Fi/Comedy?

(Any movie with Tim Thomerson and Art LaFleur is aces with me.)

One of the better vampire movies of recent times and Danny Houston makes a great vampire. While not perfect of all the classic monsters revisited Wolfman is the best of them.

I come to appreciate director Joe Johnston's effort on "The Wolfman" with each viewing. Two weeks of prep time before shooting was a pretty thankless task. And, to have the suits come in and muck it up even further. Johnston has made darned good movies in the past, and this one could have been better, given more pre-production time. Sadly, it is what it is, and a lot of potential was wasted.

Mord

The Raven" (2012) - Decent, Poe inspired film. It features John Cusack as Poe trying to solve murders inspired by his work.
