Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, Percy Jackson Sea of Monsters~In the same vein as Harry Potter only using Greek mythology as the basis for the overall series

House of Wax 3D~Finally got to see this one the way it was intended to be seen.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes(3D)~Good follow up to the beginning of the new series.

Wolfcop~Exactly what you'd expect for a movie called Wolfcop.  Goofy fun.

Mord

"Don't Blink" - Friends got to a remote deserted resort & start disappearing one by one. OK, bad ending.

Mord

After a second viewing, had a change of heart on "The Houses October Built". It's actually a very good, low-budget Halloween film. I will add it to my annual Halloween watch list with Halloween, Trick or Treat, Satan's Little Helper & Halloween III.

It Came From Beneath the Sea (1955)

Creature with the Atomic Brain (1956)

V/H/S Viral~As with the first two V/H/S movies the anthonolgy formula works quite well for this style (found footage) of filming.

Just enjoyed watching a couple of "Adventures of Superman" Episodes

My Friend Superman

and

The Clown Who Cried

Dr Spankenstein

Dead Snow 2.  This was more of a comedy than a horror film, while the first one was the opposite.  Plus for some reason, this was in English as opposed to Norwegian.  Not a bad film, I was just thrown off by how goofy it was compared to the first one.

The Woman in Black (2012)~Watched this with the girls this past Saturday and it effectively scared the crap out of them.  A great film overall but the "happy" ending feels tacked on and ruins everything that preceded it.

The Amazing Spider Man 2~Much improved over the first installment (which I hated); with a few minor story tweaks this could have easily been Spider-Man 4 (or at the very least wedged somewhere into that trilogy).  The character was much more likeable here (closer to Tobey's portrayal) and more true to the comic character as opposed to the snarky-douche he was portrayed  as in the first film.

Mord

Picture of Dorian Gray (1945) - Oscar Wilde's wit shines throughout this classic.

zombiehorror

The Battery~Not a whole lot of zombie action in this but worth a look if gore isn't the only thing you're looking for.

Christmas Evil~A decent entry into the Christmas horror genre.

"They come from the bowels of hell; a transformed race of walking dead. Zombies, guided by a master plan for complete domination of the Earth."

Strange Case Of Dr.Jekyll & Mr.Hyde(1968)
The Lodger(1944)
White Noise(2005)
Texas Chainsaw 3-D(2013)
DARK SHADOWS:

David Collins: "Dead people dont just get up and walk around.."

Sarah Collins: "Sometimes they do."

Mord

"Devil's Due" - Found footage film about a couple who go on their honeymoon and the wife comes back carrying Satan's baby. Not great, not horrible.
