Great double feature Mord! I especially love "Taste the Blood of Dracula." I watched that for the first time when I was in like 3rd or 4th grade. That was the first time I sat down and watched a Hammer movie from beginning to end. I was already into Universal and Japanese monsters, but I remember think "whoa, this monster movie is actually scary!"

The critics' kind of dismiss it, but I have a sentimental attachment to "Taste" and it's def in my top 5 Hammer films.

House of 1000 Corpses
Guardians of the Galaxy

I watched GOTG that other night too. I thought it was really cool movie. I used to read Howard the Duck comics when I was kid, so I especially liked the end of credits easter egg.

As far as horror is concerned, critics usually miss the boat. Many of the great horror films have been dismissed by critics. I generally see as many horror films as I can and decide for myself (no point in missing out on a great film because some snob didn't like it).
