The "Fistful of Yen" segment from "Kentucky Fried Movie".  It is a Kung fu movie of extraordinary magnitude!

Love Bruce Lee and Sonny Chiba. Enter the Dragon is probably my favorite. Way of the Dragon has probably his best fight scene against his pupil, Chuck Norris.

I just got into watching samurai movies. Revenge from 1964? and 13 Assassins are up next.

Oh man, Enter The Dragon is one of my all time favorites and I think superceeds "martial arts movie" it's just a flat out off the hook action flick. The entire Mortal Kombat franchise owes it's sucess to ETD.

Five Deadly Venoms is classic, The Street Fighter, IP Man was insane....I really liked Kung Fu Hustle, not what I expected.

One of the best fight scenes ever? I mean something that has you amped up like watching Rocky III and IV......Wheels On Meals, Benny The Jet Vs Jackie Chan--that's just off the charts.

Pretty much any of the ones listed here, but I do not see any of the wu tang films. I really like some of the cheesy wu tang movies. Good chit mein !!!

Meh. There goes your "everybody loves 'em" theory Doc!

not true....you like them too....hence you like Elvis Presley movies, and he has used KungFu in his movies...why do I say KungFu instead of Karate?? because Elvis was a pupil of Bruce Lee.

so, I WIN

Same Here.

And just because Elvis staged a couple of chopsocky moves (maybe 30 seconds total) does not make any of his movies "KungFu movies."

By that same logic, if Elvis drank a Coke in a movie, that would classify it as a "Coke movie." ::)

And for the record: the only one I could stand to watch all the way through was KungFu Hustle.

Kung Fu movies will never be a truly worthwhile genre, until Keneau Reeves does one!

1. it was a joke....

2. no one rattled your cage, Fester

3. straps you into the "chair" and forces you to watch  Don "the dragon" Wilson movies....

4. that will teach you to butt in  >:D

You know, Reeves would be a category of martial Arts films all to themselves, known as Kung-dude!

I forgot to add Crouching Tiger. That movie was art on the screen.

I'll have to check out that Jackie Chan fight with Benny the Jet.

Good call Baron, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon was insane...

I might catch something for this...but I think American Ninja...for an "80's" movie was actually pretty good. Another one was The Perfect Weapon. That guy Jeff Speakman was all over the place in Black Belt magazine and talked about my martial arts students all around--then he just disapeared, which was weird because I thought that movie was legitimately a good film.

Oh, and I don't know if you consider Above The Law a "martial arts film" but seriously before Steven Segal got ridiculous, that movie was pretty cool too.
