1.  I agree I would love to see two packs_ Ygor/son of frankenstein - Ardeth Bay/Mummy and etc.

2. Also a laboratory or additional pieces w/figures to build your own laboratory/diorama

3.I would love to see Friday the 13th-Halloween-Texas chainsaw-Nightmare on Elm st
1. I'd go for two-packs of the "lesser" characters. A Renfield/Mina Seward pack from "Dracula," a Prof. Van Helsing/Countess Zaleska set from "Dracula's Daughter".... This list could go on for quite awhile!
2. Love the lab/playset idea.
3. Didn't NECA do all of those characters already?

Yes, in addition to character two packs, which could prove rather popular if paired right, I'd love to see accessories.  There have been so many people saying they want to build a lab.  With so many people wanting it, I can't imagine how it couldn't sell.

As for the modern horror characters...  I really feel that they are overdone.  I see them all of the time at TRU and FYE and Hot Topic...  It's the Universals that never seem to pop up, and it's a shame.  But I am glad that DST is doing them.  I just want to see the line expand.

I think those later films have been done a lot though. I don't care for them and would skip them.

I'd love a laboratory and in a way we have been getting that. You can put the Bride base, the Deluxe Frankenstein table, and the Munsters electric chair and clock in a lab with Grandpa's equipment (soon to be reused with Jekyll/Hyde) The Incenerator and the Phantom's Organ could go in this too.

The thing with playsets is the market for them dropped out years ago. I was around the Palisades Toys guys quite a bit and as great as their Muppet playsets were they always lost money. That's why they started going to dioramas and if the company hadn't gone under the Sesame Street would have featured a build a Sesame Street playset where each figure came with part of a building and each wave you'd build a new building and add to your steet. So although a lot of people might like a laboratory playset it's probably very unlikely to ever happen because I'm sure the Toy Market is even more closed off today than it was 10 years ago the economy being what it is and all.

I think the 2 pack might be viable because it reissues an old sculpt of a popular character with a more obscure one who might not sell as a single figure. I'm still not expecting to see it happen but I'd love to see them try it or at least look into it.

The other figures I would like seen done are Hellraiser and Underworld. Very scarce that were produced.

The what??? Did you mean The Incinerator? What figure is that coming with?

Yeah, I spelled it wrong. Sorry. It's a word Spell check doesn't recognize.

I suggested the Holmes/Watson Baskerville box set on their site questions link. I added that if they wanted to do 3 figures Moriarty is a character most people would  know but a Holmes & Watson set would be ideal as most Universal Monster fans are Rathbone Holmes fans. We'll see if anything comes of it.

How likely do you think it would be to see the Claude Raines Phantom if this line goes long enough? No one has ever done him as a figure before but he was done as a Beanie in 1999 by CVS. I made a custom of him using the Sideshow Chaney body and I painted a clear Invisible Man head of Raines to match. I had to drill a hole into the body to get it to work though because the male and female plugs had been reversed between the two figures. I always thought that the Raines masked Phantom looked more interesting than the Chaney masked phantom while unmasked Chaney winds hands down.

It would still be nice to see King Kong since they have the rights to him but have no plans to make him yet. I'd see him as a 20.00 deluxe set exclusive and here could be an angry Kong and a docile Kong so everyone would have to buy 2 Kongs.

I have one question I've been dying to ask someone from DST. Why, why, why does the Mummy have that horrible white hair? It ruins a perfectly good figure. No one in the past has made his hair white, so it can't be a Universal mandate. It actually must cost a little more to paint his hair a different color than the rest of his face, so DST is spending money to damage the look of the figure. Also, why the generic likeness on the Bride? Every recent Bride toy has featured a Lanchester likeness, why can't this "collector" line do the same. Don't get me wrong, I've bought every single figure, but I don't understand some of the choices made by DST. Also, Lugosi is very willing to license a "theater" version of Dracula. Would DST consider doing this after the Uni license expires? That would reward their good customers for their loyalty.

I got my Lily, Grandpa, and Dracula figures today and I'm having some issues that maybe someone has some advice with.

Dracula - I can't get the wolf or Dracula to stay on the base. The pegs are too loose.

Grandpa - His left hand is locked up. My Herman I got a few weeks ago has the same problem. I know enough that if you force it you can break the joint. I've tried the old hot water/freezer method but that hasn't helped on either figure. Grandpa's hand is in an odd pose and that's why I want to be able to move it.

I also can't get the rod for the electric chair to fit into the peg hole on the chair. It's that brittle plastic so I can't force it and I'm afraid to break it. Any ideas how to get it to fit? Is the peg supposed to be this tight?

I'm sending Lily back because there's a big chunk of PVC missing from her bust. It looks like it wasn't there when the figure was moulded but it's not painted so I don't know. She's still in her box. How disappointing, I finally got a Lily in my life and she's damaged good. :P LOL....

Any helpful advice is appreciated.

Something I'm curious about, what happened to the hollow headed Invisible Man with the different base?

I saw a picture of him on this site but I looked up wave three today and saw no mention of him on numerous sites. I saw the basic and select versions of the Phantom and the Mutant but only the normal Invisible Man. Was the other version abandoned?
The boys around here call it "The Black Lagoon"; a paradise. Only they say nobody has ever come back to prove it.

Wizard_Of_Ed

This was covered. They were going to do a Select Phantom should the Chaney likeness fall through.

Are you talking about a see through head Phantom? I'd like to see him come with a variant head like the old one did. I do wonder if his glasses and nose come off as I've seen him displayed that way online too.

Oh, whoops. Clearly missed that. My bad.

And I'm talking about this one.

Wizard_Of_Ed

That's the one I'm talking about too. It's why I asked if his features come off. That base is probably just a display mock up though. It's not a scene like the previous bases.

How come the Universal Monsters line isn't as articulated as well as the Munsters line? And when they can do 3 Select Munsters why not 3 Select Monsters?ast time they reissued the Creature. Why not release this Invisible Man or a Bride that way too?

Mord

Not to mention the Wolfman. There are two UMA members trying to track one down right now in the "monsters wanted" section.

Yeah, one of those is me.

I could smack the person whose idea it was to make the color Wolfman an exclusive. >:(

I need all 3 of series 2 of the TRU figures. I still don't see how releasing color versions of them in a box set doesn't make the exclusives exclusive when 1.) other companies have done that, 2.) the TRU exclusives are LONG GONE and SOLD OUT so why would TRU care at this point if a 2 or 3 year old exclusive gets a mass release in different packaging especially when this happens frequently with TRU exclusive figures. Look at those Toy Story ones. They repackage them in exclusive sets at TRU and Target then release them carded in the main line. Even if the paint aps are slightly different at least we could get our hands on color ones.

If anyone sees any of the Series 2 TRU figures at a good price please shoot me a PM.
