Mia is in our hearts and in our minds. We all wish her all the best. And to Dad and Mom the wishes to remain calm and the knowledge that everything will turn out all right. We're thinking of all of you.

I am very new to the board, and haven't yet been able to meet any of you.  I was debating about posting on this particular thread, and then I saw her picture.  Rest assured, this old unknown primate is saying a monster-size prayer for her and her family.

Andy, I've been praying for your daughter ever since you shared this with me weeks ago. I too was in a Halo after a drunk driver hit me head on so I know what Mia is going through. She's a brave little girl.

Dear ANDY & MIA & FAMILY,
... I, too, {late, in receiving this information, as work has had me worn out & off-line} shall be praying, for you, all, a lot. I look, forward, to reading a positive outcome, of this serious episode in MIA'S Life.

The operation looks like it's going to be tough but I bet she'll come out of it better than ever.

This is something that has been on my mind for a few weeks now, I'm glad that Ray created a thread about it.  I've been kind of anticipating 08/05 anxiously for the last week and a half or so.  I guess I'm more anticipating 08/06 when I hope that Andy can report everything went as planned with the surgery.  Its a hard thing to have a child in the hospital at all, more so when its serious.
