First kit you painted in 30 years? Great job! I painted one last year with a George Reeves resin replacement head. I really like that kit.

Thanks, Lando.

I have a Reeves Mego head that I have to put to work someday...

I should note that the Aurora Superman (original issue) was the first model kit I ever got.  I'd asked for the Mummy for Christmas and got Supes instead!  I'll admit I was a little disappointed at first -- but have vivid memories of enjoying building and painting the Superman kit.  Which of course, led to a lifetime addiction to the figure kit hobby.

Craig, it looks, well, Super!! Brought back a lot of memories as well. My Dad built this kit with me and my two brothers, as well as the Robin kit. He did a heckuva paint job on it back then. I really wish it would have survived.

Great paint job!

Thanks, Mike!

I love the Darknight Detective; but thanks to George Reeves, and to Curt Swan & George Klein, I think I love the Man of Steel even more...

Craig, I had the 6' Superman peace symbol poster hanging in my room next to my Lugosi Dracula poster growing up. My Mom got me the Superman from the 30's to the 70's hardback book (which I still own), and I hungrily devoured Curt Swan and Murphy Anderson's Man of Steel. That is a great book, with early Supes to Neal Adams' Supes!
