Pumpkin Masters Universal Monster Patterns
« on: December 06, 2007, 11:33:24 AM »

Guess what I found this morning while looking for something else? Yes, the carving patterns for the Monster, the Bride, Dracula, Wolf Man, Mummy and the Creature.
Who was looking for these back in October? If you still want them, just give me a holler and they're yours. If more than one answers the call, then I shall have to invoke the power of the might god Xerox.

Oh, hey, that great. I would like a set. Dear Lord, SO few of us celebrate the wonderful Saint Nicholas.

We were up bright and early today to retrieve our stockings. I'll post some pics later.

Let me know if I can send any kind of payment.

Dan:  If you go back to the old UMA and e-mail me via that-a-way with your address, I can get copies to you in the mail tomorrow. . . .. and tomorrow, and tomorrow; creeps in this petty pace from day to day . . . sorry, having a Shakespeare bleed through. Hoots! Bleed through from the Scotish play! Double Hoots! Out! Out! Damned spot!
Anybody else out there in the ranks, if you want copies of the Universal Monsters pumpkin patterns just let me know.

Meek:

Are you still providing the patterns? I have been searching for these for a long time now....would love to add the other monsters to my Frankie pattern, which I carve every year.

Thanks:

Mike

God, whenever i see one of Meek's old emails pop up, for a split second, i think it's new. Very disconcerting.

I am new to this site and after posting I did notice an area on this site dedicated to the memory of Meek - and I thought, oh no, I hope that doesn't mean what I think it may. I am sorry about her passing, and I hope I did not offend anyone or cause any angst. A posting of the patterns would be great, Tom, and I would think of Meek whenever I carve any monsters.

I joined maybe a week afterwards and looked at many posts and alot of her artwork. I have her rendition of the Creature from Black Lagoon on my desktop at work. An Amazing person and talent lost way too soon.

I have this set as well, unfortunately can't help anyone getting it since they are currently not where I am.  Of course, I have already carved the Wolf Man.  Will get pictures as soon as I can.  I highly recomend these.  The Universal Monsters look great on Pumpkins.  Very fitting for Halloween.  Everyone should have a set.

I agree wholeheartedly that every monster lover should have them! I have been searching for quite some time, and until I came across this forum they have been hard to find. Seems like everyone here has them!

Imagine my sursprise one day while shopping for Halloween stuff.  I have always looked for cool Pumpkin patterns and began my pumpkin carving career with an awesome side view of a howling werewolf with the moon in the background.  One day, I run across the Universal set containing the Wolf Man.  I was all over that set like a cheap suit.  So......my next carving venture was the one and only Universal Wolf Man.  I use the very realistic but fake pumpkins so I can display them every year.  My wife is on a mission to find them and take photos so I can post them here.

I do intend to one day have them all carved.  I do one a year each year.
