As dull and uninteresting most current movies are, at least here is something new i can tune into- two hours of stupid, mindless fun. Sounds like entertainment to me.

I suppose for just mindless "entertainment" then this faux-Stooges may pass the time but in the long run this won't pass the test of time...This one will be easily (Hopefully for those that see it!) forgotten.  If my presumptuous hatred for this refurbished-inept piece of "celluloid" makes me a snob then so be it!   I'll save my money for G.I. Joe Retaliation!

Erin's performance in this thread reminds me of Dudley Manlove's "Stupid!  Stupid! Stupid!" meltdown in Plan 9 From Outer Space.

But yes, it IS incredibly rewarding, Sean.

For most real Actors (as opposed to just fame seekers), the hope that our work will give that kind of feeling to our audience is why we do what we do.

Never said I was a huge fan of DeRita or Besser but at least they did their own thing (whether good or bad) and didn't just copy Curly or Shemp, how is that faux?  Especially if you don't consider this new group of Stooge wannabes as faux, they are the very definition!

This whole concept/movie is just Stupid!  Stupid!  Stupid!  I don't see how anyone supporting/defending this can be against any remake/reimagining, no matter how dread awful it turns out to be!

I will devote April 13th, 2012 to watching as much of the real Stooges (1934-1966) as I can!  I just hope the theaters you guys/gals go to at least have some fresh popcorn and cold sodas!
