Only one three stooges. But it is better than I thought it would be.

Only if you don't count Shemp, Curly Jo or Jo Besser!  Otherwise the characterization of Curly had a few different incarnations which is basically what this film is trying to do with the group as a whole.

I don't think they were disrespectful at all. Not bad. No one will replace the originals, but this is not a bad tribute.

Yes, I see it as a tribute instead of a replacement. This looks like a better homage/re-creation than "Van Helsing" was.

Will Sasso nailed it in my opinion but I would have liked to see it more as a documentary with their ups and downs and in black and white.  I think it was done before for T.V. showing how Columbia screwed them over pretty badly.

A huge Stooge fan. I'll give this one a chance.

2000's "The Three Stooges," with Paul Ben-Victor as Moe, Evan Handler as Larry, Michael Chiklas as Curly, and John Kassir as Shemp. It was based on Michael Flemming's book "The Three Stooges: From Amalgamated Morons to American Icons." Mel Gibson was an executive producer. It was criticized for its harsh portrayal of Ted Healy, and exaggerating the team's financial situations after the Columbia shorts stopped filming.

That was a great movie, and the actors did a great job!

This actually looks pretty funny. i just hope they do not crew it up by usin g foul language and sex and drug jokes. Keep it true to the spirit of the boys and this couls be a great homage to the funniest comedy team in history!

I'm sure there will be some kind of fart gag at least once in the film if not a few times but that is just my conjecture.

Oh and here is the plot synopsis for those that don't know~
While trying to save their childhood orphanage, Moe, Larry, and Curly inadvertently stumble into a murder plot and wind up starring in a reality TV show.

I personally won't even be watching this when it makes its network television debut!  If you want your Stooge fix both AMC and IFC air the shorts, it's a far better use of time in my opinion.

Unfortunately you are probably right. I have the DVD set of all the Columbia shorts, which I highly recomend-the shorts have never looked better, plus the shorts from 1953 onwards are presented widescreen, and the 2 3-d shorts are presented in both 2-d and 3-d. As for this movie, I will give it a shot, but I will probably be butterly disappointed, which is too bad as the 3 actors seem to really have the characters down from the footage shown here. They should have filmed this in black and white and set in the 40s. And why is Columbia not producing this film???
