Monster/horror soundtracks

Ok I probably listen to the soundtracks from my favorite movies more than I listen to "regular" music. i have a ton of them from everything from the Universal classics, Hammer,Godzilla,Gamera and Ultraman,giant robot anime shows,Dark Shadows,James Bond,etc,etc! My favorite composers are Akira Ifukube(of Godzilla fame) Hans J Salter from universal and James Bernard of Hammer. My playlist on the computer is loaded with these things.

Good call, RK. I also enjoy the John Williams score for Dracula (1979), & the Queen score for Flash Gordon (1980).

Have to mention Carpenter's Halloween soundtrack.  When I first got it, it was summer and I put it on the record player and set phasers to loud.

All great soundtracks! I love Goblin and the Fabio Fabrizzi (spelling?) scores from Fulci's movies, and Carpenter's Halloween score is a masterpiece!
