I have a skull that I picked up at Uncle Fun's shop in Chicago a year or so ago.  It is made of soft vinyl and when you squeeze it a horn sounds.  It is not an official "Bike Buddy" from the sixties but it is pretty cool.  I don't recall ever seeing the other "buddies".

I've seen them for sale from time to time.  They were made.

I wonder if any of the UMA Members have them? I would love to see pics.

lol, no....  that's what I meant to say.

"They were made", as opposed to "they were on the box but never made."

OK, here are photos of a real bike buddy, that everyone can use to compare with the various fake bike buddies that pop up from time to time.

Dr.Terror

Bobby, does yours have a nose ding?   Always wondered if that was common with these.    If not another dead giveaway on the repro is the dented nose.
Morning, noon, or night, Anytime . . . . the count may strike. If you're caught you have to linger, Cause Dracula may bite your finger!

No nose ding. The cello is dinged by the nose, but the nose is not dinged, lol

And he is safely nestled in his new digs.

Would you say the Movie Monsters carded bag is the toughest item of them all on those two shelves?

???

Probably. There are 5 or 6 popcorn buckets around, and I think 3 or 4 of the carded Palmers.  You know though, I had some Palmers as a kid, and was aware of the speaker (but I didn't have a car to put it in) and some of the other stuff, but the Marx figures and Jaymar puzzles, those were IMPORTANT to me, as were my blue Frankenstein and red Dracula Palmers. The rare stuff is cool stuff for sure, but the things that make me happiest are not the things that are the rarest.
