thanks, friends! I used big bubble wrap in her sleeves so I can shape her arms by popping bubbles    and shes gonna be lit up from underneath,  like I said......she's made from stuff I found around the house. The kids around my neighborhood will get a kick out of her on Halloween

I'm wondering about tossing in some little moneter toys with the candy this year, like those rubber monster finger puppets. But what's not considered a choking hazard???

Ooooh, interesting observation Pauspy. I guess I never thought about that when I was putting those little black plastic spiders in the treat sacks. Hmmmmmm, I think those creepy plastic fingers are long enough, but they fit inside a child's mouth, so not good. They say the rule of thumb is if it fits inside a bathroom tissue roll, then it's a choking hazard, so that means all pencil toppers, finger puppets, & plastic spiders are bad news. I usually order a bunch of small toys for my Halloween party, but all the parents are present, so they can take out the dangerous stuff. I know at the Oriental Trading Company site they have a lot of ideas, so I guess we should get out our tissue rolls and start looking. But seriously, whatever I have left over from my party, I throw into the TOT bags! I will be a lot more careful this year. You would think I would know better since I work with kids under 6!

Well here at Monster Cafe Saltillo we have a new sign and new lights around the building.  Halloween is our biggest day of the year.  I hope this October is very prosperous!  Daddy needs a new couch.
