Thanks for the reminder! I'd better start working on making this a fun October right away. So far the year has been rather disappointing so let's hear it for Halloween and October!  Huzzah!

Lessee....move my horror Netflix movies up the waiting list  and add a few more, get my personal monster movies out and ready to watch, work on my loverly decorative funeral wreath, look for gothicy clothes, paint the 'lil dracula bust I found at the Dollar Store. Oh boy oh boy oh boy!

Maybe I'll dress as Wednesday this year. My hair is long enough for braids. Huzzah again!

Our household will be spending Halloween at Gatlinburg for the annual Halloween fest there again.  Thousands of kids (and kids at heart) walking the streets in costumes, professional Haunted attractions, ghost walk, ect.   This year taking a camera.  From Oct. 1st till the 29th, me and Karen plan of watching almost continuous horror movies.

I'm more than ready for Halloween. I am hoping Wal Mart will have some Halloween stuff out when I go September 1st. Not  only because I like looking at Halloween stuff, but because I owe my mom two big bags of Butterfinger candy bars for her birthday. She loves the things. Here's hoping the Halloween candy will be out.

Anybody seen any halloween stuff in stores yet?

Lowes, Garden Ridge, Michaels, Dollar Tree/Deals all have Halloween stuff out and it shouldn't be to long now that school has started for all the department sotres to start stocking them shelves with Halloween goodies!!!  I need to hit the workshop pretty hard here soon and finish my two coffins, I also want to strengthen/tinker with my older toe pincher that is showing its age plus I want to cut about two inches off my cemetary columns.  I also saw some really cool door knockers at Dollar Tree and was thinking about getting 1 to attach to each of my columns.

I haven't been to Lowe's yet. I guess I should go over there and take a look-see. I also need to go over to the Dollar Tree and buy more black creepy cloth because my grandson has decided that we should make dementors (from Harry Potter) and hang them around the front of the house! I guess I'll hot glue black cloth to the top half of a Blucky skeleton and shred the bottom material. That's all I can come up with. Whew....these kids and their grandiose ideas!

mars- I Love that song!!  My grandson only knows the AFI version, but he sings it well! HALLO-WEEEEEN, HALLOWEEEEN- I remember Halloween!   
But he also told me when he was a wee lad of 4, that the Misfits version of Monster Mash is the "original".  But I set him straight with a History lesson on Bobby Boris Pickett!

I am always excited for Halloween! All year long! When the end of summer arrives and the Fall starts I get totally upside down insane for the Halloween season! top full of non-stop monster movie watching and browsing stores for the various Halloween stuff which I spend way to much money on!
