I am so excited for halloween this year. It gets my heart pounding just thinking about it. I already started watching halloween specials.

I went to Lowe's and seen halloween stuff already. It really surprised me.

By the way, check this website it has alot of 70's halloween specials. it's worth definitely checking out. go to the left of the page to see the list of films by year.

Yessir...

I am trying to compile a movie playlist for October already.

Nice Avatar, btw.  I think White Zombie will make the cut.

Yeah!! Bring on H-2K11! I really am looking forward to Halloween, but I get nervous when I think about Summer ending. I LOVE hot weather, and I get all mopey when it starts to get chilly outside. Halloween is the reward we get for saying goodbye to Summer  :)
I already have some new stuff- 4 new Bluckys, the Zombie of MonteClaire Moors, creepy cloth from the One Dollar Tree, and a new lighted pumpkin from Big Lots. Also, I got some battery operated paper lanterns from Oriental Trading and some from Pier One.
So, now the prop making needs to kick into gear! My new son-in-law just gave me 4 really thick beaded styrofoam pieces that I intend on carving into a "High Five Ghost", (I will mess up alot, so I will probably need all 4 pieces), from Adventure Time. And My husband "claims" he will make me some new stuff out of scrap wood after I showed him Zombiehorror's coffin pictures.  :)

We found creepy cloth, some plastic severed arms and feet, and some tablecloths and party stuff. They have some little rubber skeletons and the cardboard hanging decorations they had last year.  I was just glad to only pay $1 for creepy cloth. That stuff is like $3.99 at some stores!
I hope my High Five Ghost comes out good. My grandson is counting on it  :)

I am very excited that Hallowe'en will soon be here.

Oh yeah, this ol' ape is getting fired up already.  Last year at this time I was stuck on the living room floor with a broken back!  Still walking like a mixture of Quasimodo, Ygor & Frankenstein, but am way better than a year ago.  I'm hoping to make some big ol' lifesize plywood cut-outs.  Don't want to overdue it so I'm keeping it to 3 monsters.  An 8' Frankenstein, 7' Dracula and a 9' Bigfoot.  Been planning these for years, but had some sort of injury every year since '08!

UP- Those plywood cut outs sound fantastic!! I am always envious of the Peanuts characters, I always see at Christmas, that people make out of plywood! I bet yours will be top notch with all your artistic ability! That's my problem, I could cut out the shape....but the paint job would be horrible. hahaha!!
Be careful!! Plywood is pretty heavy! Be sure to ask one of your young'ens to help you with the lifting :)  Those were dark times, on the floor in pain. This year you keep that back nice and warm and supported! ( Oh No, I've become the Back Police!) You know I worry about you....
I can't wait to hear about your projects UP!

Thanks, Char - oh, I've definitely recruited my daughter's boyfriend to do the heavy/awkward stuff,  ;).  They just moved back here to Lafayette and have been staying with us (with their 4 cats!).  They're getting an apartment though and they both have found jobs already!  I hope it all works out - them, my back, the monsters, etc.

That's been my usual plan, too.... except I've been disappointed in the quality and quantity.

I was ready for Halloween in July! The months of October, November and December are my favorite time of the year. I don't do much for Halloween anymore but I still love the holiday.
