Is it possible for a show to jump the shark in pre-production?
We're all here because we're not all there.

I saw a leaked picture of Charity as Marilyn.  She looks like Marilyn to me (seriously).  The interior of the house looks well designed too.  I plan on giving it a chance.
So, the pretty, normal-looking one looks like the pretty, normal-looking one? Sounds like a ringing endorsement to me!

Thank goodness their dispensing with the traditional monster makeup for the others, and having them all live in the Winchester Mystery Mansion.  The last thing we would want is a group of monsters looking monstrous.  It will be exactly like the original Munster series, only very different at the same time!

I've heard Grandpa will sparkle, and wears a purity ring.

I say Norman Bates wore his dress with more style!

After two years in development tonight is the night we'll see Mockingbrid Lane, for better or worse.  I'm going to watch it.

What did all of us think?

Why are you wasting your time watching this bogus, dumb movie. Its going to be as bad as it looks from the still photo's i seen.
Even a man who is pure in heart, and says his prayers by night, may become a wolf, when the wolfbane blooms, and the moon is full and bright, AAHHOOoooo

Ive caught a few clips.
And my guess is it will be worse than it appeared from stills alone.
I'll probably watch some of it--who knows? It could maybe be Ed Wood bad . . . ::)

It's AN HOUR. If you don't have one hour to waste out of your life, you're either terminally ill (my sympathies, if that's the case) or have an over-inflated sense of the value of your time. As for me, I'll spend that hour satisfying my curiosity. And, I may get a paid review out of it, too.

Just watched it. Wasn't really bad. Wasn't the Munsters we love, but it was OK.
Kind of wish it was a regular show.

It wasn't the Munsters, but it was a decent show.  If they had made more episodes, I would have watched them.

Had to work late and didn't get to see it.
Sounds like it wasn't half bad.

aura of foreboding

I wonder if NBC will post it online...  Was watching Son of Frankenstein at the time and totally forgot about this.  Ah well, the only thing that can beat Son of Frankenstein is Bride of Frankenstein.  And, I guess this show wasn't of that caliber.  Given the decent reviews, I'd watch it online at some point.
