Many of my favourite artists from the sixties are still around, e.g. Joe Kubert, Murphy Anderson, Curt Swan, Neal Adams, Jack Davis, Ramona Fradon, Carmine Infantino, Russ Heath, etc.
:(

Sad to report that Curt Swan died on June 17th, 1996.  He was one of my favorites and it was hard to pick between him and Carmine Infantino.  Especially when Anderson inked either one of them.  Almost had a chance to work with Curt about twenty years ago.  He was well worth the $500 per page he was asking but I couldn't get the budget from the publisher at the time.  We folded just a few months later and Curt died around a year later.  Murphy was available for inks for around $200 per page.

Dr. Madd

I love being off the woods, with my wife, two sets of hearing protectors, a couple of boxes of bullets, shooting.

I hate people butting into my private life to try to force my hand with their own private opinions.
