Anything by M Night Shylaman
THE HAPPENING WHAT WAS THAT???
His movies would have been better as 30min. twilight zone episodes
and I've seen all of his movies except the last airbender
maybe it's good?? 8)

I know a lot of people slammed the last airbender, but I thought it was actually pretty decent... at least better than I expected it to be. That being said, I should add that I know nothing of the original show, so thats probably why I thought it was pretty decent... the rest of his films, however, are pure crap.

What?  :-[

I mean, I can understand hating all the incredible craptastic zombie movies made in the last couple of decades, but what about the original Night of the Living Dead? The original Dawn of the Dead? The aquatic Nazi zombies of Shockwaves? Say it ain't so!

I should have clarified my statement..............I think most modern zombie movies suck like an atomic powered Hoover. But the older ones are a different story. And you just named some of my favorites (along with "The Last Man On Earth" and "Omega Man").

But I'm SO BURNED OUT on zombie movies. I've seen such a parade if drivel over the last 10 years that I can't even get excited to see zombies any more.

The new Zombie movies might be bad but look what they have done
they have awaken a whole new generation of followers all of my great nephews love Zombies and they have
had hardly any exposure to the older films the ones that got us going
they have their place.. 8)  Now they need to make a new Creature from the Black Lagoon!!!

creaturerevenge

Amen on the new Creature movie! I'm normally against remakes of classics like it, but I think Creature is one of the few of the classic monster movies that could use a good updating. I do stress the word GOOD however. As for zombie films, while it pains me a little to think this (considering the man invented the damn genre!) but I have to put some of the blame for the recent crappy zombie films on George Romero. The past 4 or 5 films he's done have been nothing but a steam of fairly lame zombie films. I would love to see him go back to doing more projects like Creepshow and just move on from the whole zombie thing. You like zombies George, we get it, but please, give me something different!

When I heard that cloverfield was coming out I thought Great an original new monster
it might breath new life into the genre but what a dissappointment
it could have been much better even the tri - star "Godzilla" YUK!! was better than Cloverfield.

I know, it's like everything else, it gets popular and then run into the ground.

I hope you're not tired of zombies in books though, 'cause the first half of my book has a lot of them!  ;)

No, I'm tired of cliche'-laden zombie movies that can't even get the cliche's right. I'm VERY excited to get a glimpse into the dank and webbed corners of that glorious mind of yours Sis!!

"They come from the bowels of hell; a transformed race of walking dead. Zombies, guided by a master plan for complete domination of the Earth."

VanHelsing I get, but you can't hate on Dead/Alive! It's classic Peter Jackson! Plus it was kinda made with the intention to be bad and campy! It's kinda the point...

Nope! Totally s**ks, and will always s*#k. Worst movie ever. I'd rather watch Jersey Girl a thousand times
before I would watch DEAD ALIVE. Btw, Jersey Girl BLOWS too. >:D
