For me...it's a tie

BTK Killer (2005) directed(?) by Ulli Lommel. I don't even store this with my other movies for fear it will stink them up.

Death Proof (2007) directed by Quentin Tarantino. The most pointless and meaningless movie of all time. I will never trust Tarantino again...he robbed me of an hour and a half of my life. Luckily I saw it for free so I never made the mistake of paying for it.

Anything with Sarah Jessica Parker including commercials.

I know..and they try to convince us how beautiful she is...the same way they did with Barbara Streisand. They both look like feet.

Yes and no--as it stands, it's incredibly boring. With some judicious editing (or maybe wholesale slash and burn), it could be great.

yeah, because if they cut out the boring parts, you'd have a pretty snazzy car crash, and some chicks kicking Kurt Russell in the face...maybe two minutes of material.....funny but if that was all there was to it and I HAD paid to watch it, I probably wouldn't be as pissed as I would have been to pay to see the whole thing. LOL

Luckily it cost me nothing to find out I could never trust Quentin again...when I think of it, I wish all my life's lessons had been that easy.

I agree Death Proof is horrible, I was actually just saying on the Horrorhound board the other day that this is one that Tarantino should have let another director take charge of because maybe someone else would have been smart enough to edit out all the boring dialog!  Some of the worst most pointless babble he's ever written.  Quentin did follow this up with the Inglorious Basterds remake which was a decent flick and a return to form for Tarantino in my opinion.

I don't like most of Tarentino's films. Reservoir Dogs is massively overrated and unoriginal, Kill Bill was the most unbalanced and poorly paced out film I think I've ever seen, Jacky Brown... eh... I will give him credit for Pulp Fiction, thats a pretty damn decent film. I will say though, that I LOVED Inglorious Bastards. I wish more of his films were like that! Grindhouse should have been Robert Rodriguez and Rob Zombie and just give Tarentino one of the spoof trailer in it.

Inglorious Bastards was definitely a step back in the right direction for QT. As a life-long student of history, there were a few things in the story line that made me cringe, but it was still interesting, and although the action was a bit sparse, what was there was entertaining. I'll never trust him again, but that certainly doesn't mean I think he's incapable of making a great movie.

I'll agree with that. Filling Hitler's head full of bullets was a little... interesting, but kinda worked in the tale of the film. I always tend to take his films with a grain of salt. Plus Christoph Ganz is incredible in it.

But fellas, you may want to use a pencil for writing down your "Worst Movie Of All Time" because-

Next year we have Tim Burton's "Dark Shadows"

A remake of "Escape From New York" is slated for 2013 release. Their first choice for Snake Plisskin...Gerard Butler...he's not going to do it now, but he was there FIRST CHOICE!!!

and IMDB reports that Rob Zombie is in the writing stages of Halloween III...I swear to God I'm not making it up!!!!

I won't be seeing any of these as my curiosity, though often extremely morbid, tawdry, and seedy, still has standards. I repeat....I'm not making it up...these movies are actually in the works!!!!!

P.S. My g/f is a fan of the movie Howard The Duck...so don't look at me like I haven't suffered.

I would be VERY surprised if Zombie does Halloween 3, he didn't seem to have much interest in doing 2, it seemed mostly like studio pressure. Plus he's heavy into pre-production on Lords of Salem right now, which looks to have the potential to be amazing. Escape from New York... that film barely worked to begin with, god help us if they decide to remake it, no matter WHO they cast in it!

For me the worst movies ever made are 99% of the over budgeted CGI laden crap that Hollywood churns out nowadays. I would much rather watch an Ed Wood movie, Godzilla or a classic Universal movie over the garbage that passes for movies today like the Twilight crap, Transformers (I HATE the design of the characters!) or even something highly praised like AVATAR. The non stop CGI never looks real to me, it looks like a glorified cartoon. Give me make up, prosthetics and guys in monster suits anyday!!

Preach RedKIng....Preach the word!!!!

For very different reasons, I hope they don't remake "Escape From New York", either. I also hope you're right about Rob Zombie retro-abortioning "Halloween III", a movie that sucked in its own right. IMDB still has him listed as writing it...but, hopefully his crayon will break or something before he finishes it.

I am always very weary about what I see and hear on IMDB for upcoming films. They aren't the most accurate and are very slow at updating their info. They are quick to post up rumors and fact too.
