QuoteLooks to me as if your arsenal will stop revenuers let alone monsters in their tracks!

On the lookout for any border-sneakin' Canadianese too! Ha!    Love, Buddy

So you know the creepy critters are planning to darken your door sooner or later but you just can't afford to spring for any of the vintage weaponry in this thread? Well I, Hepcat, have the answer!

Here are my picks to protect yourself and your family from budding danger:

N-Strike Recon CS6 Nerf Gun

Super Soaker 50

That'll stop even the biggest ones in their tracks buddy boy!

Hep! Those are cool! On the lines of a Super-Soaker is this 1962 Mattel Dick Tracy Power-Jet Squad Gun. Best of both worlds! Fires Greenie perforated roll caps AND shoots a stream of water up to 35 feet!

We're all here because we're not all there.

Yea Gary it really is! I can't recall the toy companies doing a combination cap gun/water gun before.   Buddy

Hepcat

Wow! What an awesome combo gun. And I love Dick Tracy too!

Are those guns tough to find these days?

???

Close! This is an M-1 Carbine BB gun by Crosman Arms......Daisy's rival. My best friend had one of these in the 60's. Sharpest looking BB gun I had ever seen! About mid 90's I spotted this one at a Flea Market. Walked straight over to it and scooped it up knowing that whatever the price I finally negotiated, it would be mine!

Here's the thing about the Crosman M-1 Carbine......looks are deceiving. See the ammo magazine attached to the rifle? Well, it holds plenty of BBs! But!......You see the lever sticking out from the gun? You see the 2 holes in the wood stock in front of that lever? What you do is take off the magazine from the rifle, pour out one....yes one BB, pull the lever back, this slides open the front hole into which you insert your one BB, you close the lever by pulling it back, you push the barrel into the spring tension until it clicks, then you are ready to fire. All that to get off a single shot while the BB gun looks like it would rapid fire for you! Nope!  Buddy

Can't reload fast enough to bring down a FOOM.........Buddy

Here's a gun I just picked up. It is a 007 cap pistol, but I am unfamiliar with it's origin. Very similar to a Remco Hamilton Invader/ Okinawa pistol, but has different cap firing mechanism, front sight, and barrel silencer. The aqua blue on the receiver and silencer is a very striking color. 2nd photo compares it to the Hamilton gun...Buddy

The Masked Man

I had three....I guess it would depend on the Monster.....and what was in near reach....

I loved the Lone Ranger set and was rarely out of some western garb........

But you can't go wrong with the ol' trusty....
