Hey moonshadow! ...I'm bettin' your brother had a Monkey Division Long Range Bazooka by Remco Toys. This baby can really fling em! Check out the second photo.......Remco attached a substantial red metal railing to the bazooka. The cocking mechanism would put a definite hurt on Junior if the railing weren't there. It flies forward with alot of force when firing the bazooka round (bomb).

So that would have been the ultimate bazooka then? Did Remco make a Marine Raider variant of the Monkey Division Bazooka as well?

???

Not sure of the answer to that......I know the Marine Raider line had a tent, mess kit/helmet combo, a helmet canteen, mess kit and pom-pom gun (different colored version of the U S Navy pom-pom gun) and the Marine Raider Mortar. Not sure beyond that......Buddy

The Baby now has a toy bazooka. That said, go to the Madd Arms -Single action airsoft pistol thread to see a toy gun of my own design

Ok, gotta get in on this gun fest. If we're talking about a zombie invasion, a weapon of choice might be the Topper Crime Buster Super Action Police Gun. It was a follow up to the Johnny Seven OMA. It has single shot capability along with a riot gun bullet spray (obviously before Kent State), Smioke Grenade, Police Siren, and a signal missle (Notify your fellow survivors that it's all clear, zombie-wise?)
While I had the Johnny Seven as a kid, I was never aware of this gun back then.

Riot gun bullet spray! Now that's something every toy gun could use!  Buddy

Moonshadow, it might also have been this bazooka by Marx....and you guys and gals check out the second photo.......What's with that? We suppose to believe Mr. Soldier is holding a bazooka? No, no, no! That's just wrong!   Buddy

HI Bud, I was on vacation the last week and only now have begun to catch up on the board. Thanks for doing some research on the bazooka! After several decades, it's hard to be sure, but I'm thinking my brother might have had the Marx one. All I can remember is once a neighbor kid got a hold of it and used it on me and the thing really hurt! The shells seemed gigantic, and were of a very solid, hard plastic. I recall them being black but that may not be accurate.

Another item we used as a weapon were those old water-pump rockets. We'd pump those up and then fire them horizontally at one another, rather than launch them into the sky. Those suckers hurt pretty good too!

Yea, I did that horizontal attack on my friends too! What I remember is that my intent was to get them soaked.......only one ending up soaked was me!    Buddy

Here's something sure to put a bump on little brother's noggin! This is the Hubley Red Fox Missile. Don't see this one too often, if at all. I don't know if the red missile can be fully appreciated in the photos......this sucker is BIG! Missile is a full 12" long and 3" in width. I believe this dates from the early to mid 60's.  I would suggest a mouth shot soon as the monster tries a frightening roar!      Buddy

Looks to me as if your arsenal will stop revenuers let alone monsters in their tracks!
