I refuse to watch ANYHING with Adam Sandler or Pauly Shore - I despise them equally.

It may not be fair, but I just can't help myself.

Yecch!

Adam, I respect you for standing by your principles!
Besides, Adam Sandler has the anti-Midas touch -everything he touches turns to crap.

Very, very true.  I remember in middle school in the late 90's where everyone thought Adam Sandler was great....I watch his movies now and wonder why I ever thought watching movies about a man child were ever funny...

You wait, Sandler will do the Phantom of the Opera voice as his Opera Man character from SNL.

And now, Will Ferrell does the same schtick, just as badly.

Aintitcool.com has the first pics!

"The girl is Dracula's Daughter MAVIS as voiced by Selena Gomez.  floating glasses, they belong to David Spade who is playing THE INVISIBLE MAN.  The Wolfman in the hat?  That's WAYNE as voiced by Steve Buscemi - and the lil  Wolfgirl- she's gonna be voiced by Molly Shannon. Then you have Murray the Mummy as voiced by Cee Lo Green and Frank(enstein) is Kevin James.   DRACULA in the above and below pics will be voiced by Adam Sandler.   Then this character below .......?   That's Johnnystein a human trying to pass for a supernatural - voiced by Andy Samberg."

I have a 7 year old grandson that will love this!  The Mummy looks a little odd, but so does the Mummy on the Phineas and Ferb episode..and the kids loved it!
I hope the movie will be a good Halloween classic for youngsters.

Haunted hearse

I for one will boycott this film, until they add  Depp to the cast, voicing a character with a dead bird on his head!
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?

I just noticed in that first pic they appear to be doing Mad Monster Party-zombie bellhops!!!

Hahahahaaaa! yeah.....
I just went over to IMDB to look for more information. The good news- Sept. release! I always complain that there aren't enough kids' monster movies near Halloween.
The bad news...well it's personal, but I'm hoping that a certain voice "artist" doesn't anger me with his performance.  I know it's a kid's movie, but I would expect some dignity from the actor when he portrays Dracula.

PASS!

I'm assuming that will be the decision of most monster fans but much like Monster High modern takes on classics are needed to attract a younger set into the world of monsters; Both Josephyne and Samnatha's eyes lite up when I showed them the pictures, whether I am interested or not I'll definitely be seeing it with my girls!  I'm actually looking more toward ParaNorman , I can't wait for that one!

The Invisible Woman

I am sort of on the fence about this one. It could go either way. When I saw the above picture and noticed a pair of glasses floating in the air to the left of the mummy character, I got all excited! :) Then I read the text below it, only to find out that The Invisible Man will be voiced by David Spade! :oI don't know how I feel about that. Guh! Not too great, actually. What they should do is go back to having actual professional voice over actors do the voices in all these animated movies. Most of us don't know who they are (the professional voice over actors, I mean) and will not have preconcieved notions and expectations about the characters based on who is doing the voice.

It might not look "exactly, precisely" like what I'd want to see, but it looks basically like a "Mad Monster Party" sort of thing, and that makes me want to go see it.
Beautiful moving, shifting colors!

Animated movies like this are very popular these days and this might be a great way to interest a younger generation in our favorite Monsters. Universal should take note.
You knew the job was dangerous when you took it, Fred.

There's too much "sameness" in the character designs for all these CGI-animated movies. This looks like everything from "Monsters, Inc." to "Shrek" to "The Invincibles" to "Up." I was hoping for something a little more unique. Dracula by way of Buzz Lightyear and Frankenstein by way of Sully, I can do without.
