Yeah, all you over 40ers go back to watching Matlock or Murder She Wrote or whatever it is you people watch and stay out of our thread!   

Wow!!!!! I don't watch either of those programs. Ouch, I just typed the word programs, instead of
t.v. shows. Now I am old. Lol. I'm just an old Punk and Metal rocker
who listens to lots of SLAYER and watches Horror movies 7 days a weeks. \m/.

I'm 39!  Whew....good thing you didn't put off posting this until next year since I will no longer be in the "Monsterkids under 40" club!!  My love of monsters came from my mom, who although not a huge fan did love her classics!  I used to stay up late nights with her and watch monster flicks back when I was a kindergartner and even though today is Father's Day, I just want to say, "Thanks mom for making me a lifelong monster lover!!".

Good story. For me, I have an uncle thats about 10 yrs older than me and I practically lived at my grandmothers house as a kid.
Finding Aurora parts, King Kong on during Thanksgiving...and all his cool books (which I now own). I guess it was kinda handed down to me.

Now for the real reason of this thread....(cue bone chilling music.) All us younger than 40 UMA'ers are planning something diabolical for you elder members. You're very knowledgable in classic horror....too knowledgable perhaps.

Remember, in the UMA bylaws, and General, you may need to back this up, everyone under 40 cannot post after 9 PM because of your curfew.   Those of us over 40 are usually in bed anyways so the rule need not apply.

My monster room says that I'm a kid (or immature at the very least!).  I'll be 46 next month, but to my daughter's friends, I am the cool dad.  I'm silly, eccentric, and irreverent.  Kids, teenagers especially, know when adults are talking down to them.  I maintain my authority, but I can still connect with the kids.  That's why I can relate to the under 40 members here, I know the lingo.  GROOVY!  RIGHT ON!   ...OK, maybe I'm feeling my age a little...
