UMA'ers under 40.

Just curious to see how many Universal Monster Army members and all around Monster and Classic Horror lovers are under the age of 40 years old.

When horror movies or film overall comes up in conversation most people are suprised that I mention stuff like Frankenstein and Phantom Of The Opera. I understand this stuff is just before the time of people in my age bracket.

For the ones that know..we're better off. 

So how many of you here are under 40?

38 and know the feeling. Most of my freinds and people I meet younger than me have no idea what im talking about when I start talking monstersm. Not really anyone older either thoigh. But then again I think I live in a black hole of a town. Smack dab in the middle of conservative usa. I pretty much have trouble finding anyone who shares the same interests as me. That's why I love the UMA. I finally found a place that understands me.

Thanks man...Ive been so damn busy, I really didn't have too much time to hang out, now though things are smoothing out. You were actually the 1st one I thought of when starting this thread.

For the other guys posting here, cool to see some how, some way this special thing made it's way to us!

So now I gotta ask...for us youngins that are under 40...how were you introduced to classic horror?

I'm 39!  Whew....good thing you didn't put off posting this until next year since I will no longer be in the "Monsterkids under 40" club!!  My love of monsters came from my mom, who although not a huge fan did love her classics!  I used to stay up late nights with her and watch monster flicks back when I was a kindergartner and even though today is Father's Day, I just want to say, "Thanks mom for making me a lifelong monster lover!!".
