Hi Charp and everybody else because I know that you'll all take a peek!
Here's my makeup dress rehearsal for the wedding:



It looks nice in the picture, but It's actually way too heavy.  I had it done at Nordstroms.  I'm going to do it on my own for the big day.

Laura, you look beautiful!  If I was at that wedding, I would take one look at you and have to introduce myself. 

There's a Madeline Kahn thing going on there, and Madeline Kahn was pretty hot.  Of course, I'd have to post a pic of her from Young Frankenstein.  ;)

Chatty!!!!  You outta be in pictures!   :)  And since I've never seen you without make-up, I think you look perfectly natural with your new look! Everything compliments your hair and eye color- and I don't know if you wear purple a lot, but it looks lovely on you! You really do look like you are camera ready.  :)
What a fun time you are gonna have this summer! Is your son getting married locally, or do you have to travel? My husband and I are heading up to South Dakota for my daughter's wedding next month. Yay!! We have been re-watching every episode of Deadwood to prepare for our journey.
I'm sure we'll both have photos and stories to share after the weddings- Ahhhhh!! I can hardly wait! Well Chatty, you look like you'll be more photogenic than I will be! I'm sure you can do it just like they did it at Nordstrom, just take you time and ENJOY.

I know you will beautiful!  You must post your makeup dress rehearsal picture.  You will be beautiful.  You are already beautiful!  I went to Nordstrom's today and exchanged the blush color to a more pinkish color.  They also explained to me (again) very carefully and at a much slower pace how everything was done.  That was a great big help.  I feel more confident now.

Here's the pinker makeup.  It's less heavy than the other application:  I like it better:

I haven't seen or talked to my makeup person since that trial run of the makeup.  She took me to Nordstroms to get the test makeup done.  She wants me to go to Nordstroms and have my makeup done there the morning of the wedding.  That would probably be close to a two hour procedure including driving time.   Scratch that.  We never did go to lunch which was my little treat for her helping me with the makeup. A small lunch at Panera would have been nice.  After all I was paying.  Even a cup of coffee at Mc Donalds would have been nice.  Everytime I talked to her she just said, "You are a beautiful person inside and out."  How could she even figure that out?  She never said more then two words to me.  Suppose I was an ax murderer?   u6juu  But she did like the antique bracelet I got her for helping me.  She should have told me she didn't want to do it in the first place.  So much for the fantasy of having someone fussing over me the morning of the wedding.  I should have kept the bracelet for myself.  I should uninvite her.
