Love Savini's gore but Baker wins for his ape work (on several different projects) alone!  Besides that, love the movie or hate it,....he designed the new feakin' Wolfman!!!

Yes, for diversity of subject matter I'll vote for Baker too, but both are extremely talented

Both are equally different, legendary, and fantasic in what they( Baker, Savini)do without a doubt.
Extremely difficult choice. So my choice is clearly, BLANK. >:D

Baker has it down to a perfection. Yet savini is "the godfather of gore". And directs, acts, and is a stuntman to boot. I have to go with the sex machine.
Mirabile dictu,don't you agree?

I love both of them, but I grew up watching Savini's stuff, so I'm going to have to go with Tom Savini on this one.  However, Tom Savini isn't doing effects anymore, while Rick Baker still is, so I think Rick Baker has better longevity.

Thank you. After just participating in the Bama-Frazetta-Gogos vote, my head has now exploded.
"How did you do that?"

Have always been huge fan of Rick's phenomenal work. Embarrassingly, I'd have to do a credit check to know Tom's work
