I remember gazing excitedly at this ad for Salada Baseball Coins that ran in DC comics cover dated June 1962. Here's a scan of the ad from my copy of Flash 129:



In Canada these coins were issued with Shirriff backs in Shirriff Potato Chips, Puddings and Jelly Desserts. Here are scans of a few of these coins from my present day set:
