Well since you got them for nothing you still realized an infinite return on your "investment". The owner of Honor House was infintely more of a moron than you were.

Funny that you say this...Ready for this his werehouse manager told me that those he  had given me were his last...Here is the part that made me cry. A month before I had gone there he said they had put tons of them in the garbage. Along with subs and all the stuff they had....At the time I said who cares, but today after eBay I now cry!!!

OMG, I had one of the Mattel M-16 guns.  Haven't thought about that in years.

Ha! Just seeing this post! LOVE the Mattel M-16! Very unique toy gun for it's time......or really any time! You could get short or long bursts....pull the bolt back once-9 shots with a pull of the trigger...BUT...if you pulled the bolt back 6 times you got a continuous stream of 50 shots! And each shot is disturbingly loud! The wife comes to the top of the stairs and tells me to cut-it-out every time I fire this thing!  Buddy

I'd love to give a frustrated kid with your typical modern mother a gun like this one for Xmas. He'd be delighted; she'd be aghast.

We used to wait around for the Sears catalog and the JC Penney catalog.  Just IMAGINING we were getting anything outta those was fun.

I'm with ya Sean! I think I spent more time pouring over the Christmas catalogs than anything else in December. Use to circle the stuff I wanted hoping Mom would get the hint.....seldom worked as I had half the catalog circled!  Buddy
