They had a raffle for one of these at a car show a year ago ....

We saw a little girl begging her parents to buy multiple raffle tickets .. the little girl thought that the raffle tickets were for the giant stuffed pink panther sitting behind the wheel of the car ...

We didn't win the car but I hope that she got her pink panther ...  ;D

Always wanted a black '71 Mustang Mach 1.

Hepcat, my family had a Gran Torino 2 door, think it was a '72. Beautiful car, black with gold trim. Fast as heck too, but a tremendous gas-guzzler. I think it was getting like 20 miles to the gallon!! And this right around the time of the oil crisis and gas rationing. Dad had to sell it for something more economical. But it sure was fun to ride in.

Back in the day when I was full of vim and vigour and cars were cars my 1973 Dodge Charger like the one Richard Petty drove shared one large parking pad with our neighbour's 1974 Mercury Montego like the Wood Brothers' Mercury driven by David Pearson:

We are of like mind my cornfield friend. My favorite Ranchero is the '71, which features the Torino front end.

We're all here because we're not all there.

Sis, you have a discerning automotive palette. I also love the '67 and '68 (both of which I had when I was single and still allowed to spend money).

I had a green 67 coupe with the 289........

And silver '68 fastback with black Shelby stripes, also with the 289.........

Sigh..........
