A bit of a catch up from me!

curseofthewerewolf! A fantastic drawing and inking of The Hulk! And the combo of The Hulk and The Thing should be framed and put on display!

John! Stunning pictures of Colin and Dwight (so much detail in there), Bela and The Creech!

defilerjim! That's a great looking Lambretta! Any chance of some close ups of the artwork?

UP! Another very..very cool Yeti! Mark, do you paint the models in acrylics? Your new mean-lookin' werewolf is a winnner!

Illoman blows me away with his wonderful portrait of Boris...what a great likeness! I love the combination of warm and cool colours that I can relate to as far as the man himself when he performs That begs to be on the cover of something!

I have been busy on new paintings and here's another of Peter, from Dracula A.D. 1972.

Acrylics on watercolour board.

Illoman

Markchro- You have done such a wonderful job on the magnificent Peter Cushing! I got a lump in my throat when I saw your painting, Sir! It really makes me feel so emotional. I cannot believe how beautiful it is and what expression you have given him. Oh, I can't even put into words how much I admire your work. Thank you for letting us see it ALL! I love looking at the different stages! So exciting!

Count_Zirock

Markchro, I hope you post that to the Peter Cushing Appreciation Society UK's Facebook page. They love fan art!

Markchro You really nailed on of my all time favorite actors! Beautiful piece!

Thought I'd share an early pic of my current project that I'm working on. I had to put my new Frankenstein piece on hold to get underway on this big guy, but here's a shot of my new full size Creature from the Black Lagoon figure I started sculpting. When completed he will be on a base made to look like the floor of the grotto and he will stand a total of about 7 1/2 feet tall and will be carrying a Julie Adams figure. I also have amazing likeness sculptor Josh Stephenson working on Julies head sculpt. Josh does AMAZING likenesses and I currently have his Karloff Tower of London bust being worked on as a figure for our Vault of Horror. Here is my progress on the Creature so far...

Still early days on him but he is starting to take shape!
Do you like monsters? They're my only weakness...

Wow, can't wait to see the finished piece!

Mark - I can just stare at & study that Cushing.  His look just emits so much emotion.  Just amazes me how you (& Mike) capture that kind of quality - but you do.

cr - that is going to be one helluva piece!

Not bad...

The only redeeming value in it is THAT IT"S AWESOME!

Glad to see you got away from the "paint by numbers" stuff.

Great work Illoman -- and as a bonus, you've given U.P. an idea for dinner!
