There is so much great work here.  Thank you all for sharing.

I do want to take a moment to comment on this...

Thank you horror1o1!

Here's my latest doodle! Quentin Colllins! Now I just need to see an episode of Dark Shadows! It's never been shown in the UK, as far as I know.

Just amazing.  I can't believe you haven't seen an episode of the show.  The art just exudes his essence.  Fantastic work.  By the end of the show, I definitely cared more about Quentin than Barnabas...  And that is saying a lot since Barnabas is one of my favorite characters of all time.  But he lost steam, and Quentin kind of kept it going... even when the storylines were getting less than stellar.  It was all about Quentin and Kate Jackson's character, Daphne.

Illoman! Wow! Glad to see you get to the finish! Apart from being beautifully painted, Cool Ghoul puts a big smile on my face, as it's full of personality! So what's next?

Dr. Madd! Nice job on Frankie and the Grim Reaper dude! What sort of paints are you using to decorate them with?

Creaturerevenge!  I like the trippy colours that echo Bowman's metamorphosis in the film. The Shining design is just creepy! You must have a great understanding with your printer dude when it comes to the use of inks! I used to work in a printers (my first job) and one of my jobs was to make sure the rollers were totally clear of ink before changing colours! Eecckkk! The florescents will be amazing and I look forward to seeing some pics!

Many thanks Aura of Foreboding! I've checked out some Shadows on YouTube including the bloopers. I may even invest in one of the DVDs just released in the UK.
I have to add that there's still an awful lot of films and TV shows that I've yet to see, and I'm slowly catching up!  ;D The other night I saw Island of Lost Souls for the first time and enjoyed every moment of it! Another to tick off the long list!

This is done with Inking brush, and colored in photoshop!

That's really good, Sly Wolf...  Too good actually, as I am going to get you and Hepcat confused!

The UK DVD is basically the first half of US Collection 1.  All very good episodes.  I think you will enjoy them.  These early episodes are a lot slower than the later ones, but they have a great, creepy Gothic atmosphere that I am sure you will enjoy.  My favorite storyline is 1969's Haunting of Collinwood, which is all about Quentin's Ghost possessing the kids and a werewolf running amok.  So, if you have a chance, you may want to check those out.  They are on US Collections 11(the every end) through 13 (the very beginning).  I could have sworn they were Region 0 discs, but some sites are showing them as Region 1.  So I'd just double-check before ordering any of the US sets.  But, hopefully, there will be more UK releases soon!

That's my plan, lol! It was meant to be a gift for Hepcat in first place because I found his avatar to be more of an messy work and not really clear. But I was like oh hey why I don't just play a prank on some readers here by using it as my avatar instead! To make things more funnier, I copied his sig "Collecting? It's what I do!" into my own sig!

It wasn't easy, trying figure out what color code in his sig is...

[mod]Please don't impersonate other forum members. If you are trying to joke with hepcat, you can use that avatar and sig for the remainder of today until hep sees it, but by tomorrow it has to be gone. If we observe that it is not really a joke but something else, then the avatar and perhaps its user could be gone sooner. I don't find it very funny, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.[/mod]

Yikes, sorry I didn't know that and I was planning to use it just for few days or until enough users notices. I will use it only for today and I'll take it off at night today. I'm sorry to hear that it's not funny, it makes me think I have bad taste in jokes or something. Do I have bad taste in making jokes? I don't know, I thought I was being funny... Not easy being funny those days.

Well I have to admit that Sly Wolf has done a decent take on my avatar.

One of the instructors at Cardio Rehab commisioned me to draw a picture for her son, who is graduating this month.  She had seen my work and liked my "cartoonish" style.  Her kid is a big Green Bay Packers fan.  Not horror related, unless you consider Nitschke a monster!

Sharpies on 20" x 16" watercolor paper.  The Lambeau Field logo was a b**** to get right!  It still looks a bit off, but that's the camera angle (I hope).

While going through some stuff today, I found this drawing I did about 10 years ago.  Hope you get a kick (start) out of it!

Illoman

Mark, always enjoy seeing new (or old) work of yours. You really have a distinctive style. both these pieces are extremely nice!!

Thanks, Scatter, but actually it's supposed to be a werewolf,  :'(.   It does look like an ape now that I think about it - as a matter of fact, it kinda looks like YOU!   ;D   The pic came out too dark and I think it obscures his lupine features - I might just redo one!  But, how on earth could you ever think I would draw an ape?  Or a gorilla?  Or King Kong?  Or Bigfoot?

Thank you, Mike & AOF!
