In the words of Curley, "Soitenly!"

More great stuff, Illoman... I was just imagining your spot-on paintings of TV Land icons------but as classic monsters or zombies.  Ever think of doing that?  Floyd the barber as a werewolf?  In his barber shirt?  Aunt ZOMBee?

... my favorite TV show too.

Can never pass up an episode - the black & white ones, that is!

Thanks Sean and UP. "Mayberry Zombies"? I dunno. The monster Mayberry sounds interesting. I guess if they can "zombify" Jane Austen they can zombify Mayberry!

Gasport

Yeah, Aunt Bea and Clara are already frightening enough!

Gillman-Fan

Any monster-fication of the Howard Sprague character would be an improvement. An invisible man treatment being the optimal choice.

RICKH

Mike, good grief!  That painting is wonderful!  I love Barney.  For the last 4 years our church has done a Mayberry Christmas prograGm, and Barney has been the star of the show.  Great work as always.
You can't kill the boogeyman.  Halloween (1978)

I promised my seven year old granddaughter, Autumn, that I would post her "monster" art on here.  She's been staying with us for the past 2 weeks, and even though she's more of a "girly-girl", she did manage to make her ol' Pappy a couple of creepy creatures to hang in his monster room.

Prepare to be SCARED!

THE BLOODY SKULL CREATURE:

RED-EYED FRANKENSTEIN:

>>>>>>>

Both are quite good.... but that skull actually has quite realistic dimensions and I can see that the teeth were all done seperately, yet seem to blend well.

Unknown Primate

Yes Sean - I was amazed at how "even" she made the teeth.  She drew several skulls in pencil first, erasing them till the paper tore because she couldn't "get it right".  She finally damn near nailed the shape and I told her, " Maybe you should paint this one. "   She usually doesn't draw a lot, but she tried & tried, especially the skull.  The Frank, she drew the first time and was happy with it.

And check this out - I showed her the pics I posted here, and read the (very kind) posts to her that everyone left.  She says, " They can buy them for 5 dollars each, if they want. "   ;D
I reminded her that " Hey, I thought these were for ME! "
THAT kinda flabbergasted her for a second, then she said, " Well, I meant I could make some more! ", followed by a sweet, and slightly guilty looking smile!!
" Perhaps he dimly wonders why, there is no other such as I. "

Illoman

Okay, just finished Andy....
