Haven't had a chance to do any doodling lately, but had to have a hairy hominid fix.  I was thinking about Scatter and his love for Florida, so I whipped this up - just for him!  Actually, I think that's the ol' rascally ape himself in this sketch!

DAMN. This is awesome UP. This looks like it could have came from one of my Warren magazines.

You mean - something like this? :o

Yowzer!  This needs to be a poster or on a t-shirt, Mark!  Thanks for putting this together!

This could be the solution to the UMA T-shirt problem. This would make an excellent UMA shirt.  ;D
Once again, fantastic art UP.

No question about it, that's an awesome rendering!

IMO the Frankenstein head elements may still be too close to the original. Might I suggest a Dracula widow's peak?

Coming from one of favorite monster makers, that's an awesome compliment!  Thanks!  And thanks for the suggestion, too.  I threw a quick "widow's peak" in there.  Didn't expect so much feedback on this piece, but it was a fun & goofy project!  Could even put the top of D's cape around his neck.

A couple of Sharpies, some Crayola markers & a colored pencil or two.

Long live the UMA!

Here's my latest, Bela Lugosi and Frances Dade, oils, 16"x20" on canvas board. It's for sale over in the Classifieds.

Thanks,

Illoman, I really like that Dracula painting.

Fantastic DRAC, Mike!  And a very cool CREATURE, Gillboy!!

The 'look' in Lugosi's eyes in that painting is EVIL.  Amazing job capturing it.
