All are superb, but the lighting and hues in the Hellboy pic are especially striking!

Gossamer

Markchro!  One of my favorite artists on the planet returns with such amazing and beautiful work.
That Wolfie is breathtaking with gorgeous red tones.  Hellboy gets better with every viewing and now those LOTR Portraits make mine look inferior.  Just stunning man I don't get how you do it even with those step by steps.  I would love to shake your hand one day and watch you create one of those stunners.

Herr Hussmann.  My gosh Sir!  How do this!!!  At this small scale I am always gathering my jaw from the floor.  I tend to always work large to get the desired details and likeness.  The smaller I go the likeness wavers.  But you nail every detail to the perfect "T".  Brilliant.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer.  8 1/2 by 11 colored pencils

The Avengers Hulk: Ruffalo Stye

Thanks, Gossamer.

I like how you did the lighting on Sarah Michele's leather jacket and even the shading on the Hulk's teeth! Super eye for detail!

Illoman

Wow, haven't had time to visit for a while. Glad to see all you great monster artists are still producing wonderful works!! Here's my latest, Mord. 16"x20" on wood panel, oils.

Gossamer

I don't know if I would Karloff as Mord gorgeous but that is a totally gorgeous painting.  Mike you have outdone yourself(as always). Everything here is just perfect.  From the likeness to the  beautiful tones you have chosen and especially that slightly tinted white tone on his face.  Beautiful work my friend.

Thank you Herr Hussmann.  Right now each piece I do with pencils is an experiment.  Something's I am finding work and other things don't work or suit my style.  Your comments are greatly appreciated and encourage me  onward.

Hello everybody, thanks to some proding from Gossamer, I've finally made it to the other side.....

markchro, that del toro wolfie is just dripping with fury! I have not seen that one before, yet another classic!

Illoman, I have to say that Karloff Mord is nothing short of spectacular!!! I have always wanted to illustrate like that. WOW!

Fine sculpy works Herr Hussman, just great stuff.

Here are a couple of my older works to get started. Something new and something old, featuring Scar Jo and Boris from the Black Cat.

Illoman

Nice! The sensitive portrait of Boris is very well done.
