Thanks Jollygorilla!

That is a wonderfully funny Creature.  Looks stretched to me and a well captured shocked look on his face.  Love your doodles Man.  They make my day every time.

Herr Hussmann

I can picture Captain Quint saying that the taxidermy man will have a heart attack when he sees what he brought him. Really funny concept!

Gossamer, Love the Monster From Hell Cushing- I always thought he looked like my late Aunt Edna with that wig on. Great facial likeness!

Gossamer

Thanks so much HH.  Cushing is always a tough subject for me but a labor of love.  I have sketched or painted him five or six times now with various degrees of success.  I will keep trying until I get it right.

drew this, scanned it and then colored it with AI

The Renown Zacherly Artist JollyGorilla!!!  You must have him down to a science and all your renditions are Perfect!!!  Congrats on that beautiful sketch.

For Gillman Joe!  Who posted a couple of wonderful Coopers and got me off my butt to draw him.

Alice Cooper in the mid 70's and to me his finest years.

I wouldn't call cooper beautiful, ...he's a grisly looking guy, but that's one beautiful sketch!

So Im working on my second book, it covers cryptozoology/ Monsters in America. I intend to illustrate each of the creatures. Here is a couple of my renditions of those creatures

Arizona Mogollon Monster (bigfoot cousin)

Loveland, Ohio Frogman

Connecticut/Ohio/Wisconsin's  Mellon Head

Louisiana's Rougarou  (card size)

Mobile Alabama's WolfWoman (Spirit Manifestation)

Random and not for my book

Water Color of Lou Costello. I hate how this turned out, but I figured Id post it anyways. I'm not sure what it is about it, but I hate it lol. Im very critical of my art.

Great stuff dont forget my local Crypto the Jersey Devil

something about this old postcard growing up that gave me the creeps...

I drew him once and i instead of a horse head i went with a more comical moose look...

jollygorilla

found an old not so jolly green giant sketch

Gossamer

Jollygorilla you need to put out a book of your work or doodles as you call them.  I need one!

That Godzilla is Amazing!

GillmanJoe that Wolfwoman is so creepy.  A highlight to your book for sure.

jollygorilla

Thank you. Its great having a place to share them with my peers.

gillmanjoe

Thank you guys!

How could I forget the Jersey Devil? Ol' Mrs. Leeds baby boy is one of the most well-known cryptids in America.

Thank you Goss.

I love Stephen Gammell's art work in the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark Series. I draw inspiration from his artwork.

jollygorilla

I must say being in this thread has really gotten me to draw more and more

here is one of tonights monsters

Qalupalik
The Qalupalik is a creature of Inuit legend described as being human-like and having green skin with long hair and very long fingernails. She lives in the sea, hums to entice children to come closer to the water and wears an amautik -- a parka worn by Inuit women to hold a child against the back in a built-in baby pouch just below the hood.
