Once again- I am privileged to see all this fantastic art!  Sly Wolf- You are a true storyteller & super talented artist- I love the comic! haveapotato-  Wow! You have a beautiful mind! I love your artwork- it's so electric & cool!
Illoman- My heavens! Every subject you show us is so perfectly portrayed! I can't believe that I am seeing The Man! Real- human- man Stallone is so complex looking to my untrained eye! I can't get over how you brought all his facial expression and eyes, and bone structure to life on your canvas!! AMAZING! You have such a way with human beings! What a brilliant job, Sir!

Thanks, UP and Charpie!! I really appreciate the kind comments.

Great xmas Card Long Live Kong.  Would be awesome to get that in the mail.  Terrific work sir!

Illo. Love that Stallone.  Just love this one and bet it looks just stunning on the wall.  Jealous of that as a X-mas gift.

Here is something I whipped up for the fun of it.  The steal of the Avengers film in my opinion.

Green for the X-mas Spirit.  But too large to be Missiletoe!!!

Monolith

Nice Mark Ruffalo Hulk.

For Christmas I made my brother packs of trading cards. As a kid in Boston he watched FANTASMIC FEATURES which was hosted by an alien named Feep. So, for the wrapper I drew a Feep floating in space with a TV, scanned it,
then colored it, added a title and other lettering on the computer, added the ads on the sides, printed the wrapper on my printer, then waxed it, so it would look just like a package of cards from the '60's. Here's the wrapper before waxing...

Then, for the cards I found images of the movies that they showed on FANTASMIC FEATURES and wrote funny captions for each of them. I ended up making him five packs of cards with six cards and gum in each. Here's some examples of the cards...

Here's some more cards. I had fun writing the captions...

For the backs of the cards I took a photo of Feep and made him look like he's laughing, then added jokes. Some
of the jokes I stole from various sources and some I rewrote to fit the format...

Here's a photo of one of the wrappers after I waxed it and folded it around the cards and added a stick of old gum...

Thanks. Their my homage to all the 1960's monster trading cards as well as a Christmas present to my brother.
There are only three known photos of Feep in existence, and no actual footage. So, for the drawing on the wrapper
i had to make up what his whole body looked like because there's no photo of his whole body, only photo's of him from the waist up.

Great Hulk, Gossamer! love the crows feet on the old boy's face! Great detail on the shine on the teeth as well.

Your card is a real hoot, Long Live Kong. The Yeti comes with his own white beard!

Illoman, great shading on Rocky's eyes- I can almost hear him saying: "Hey, yo!"

Mord

Monolith, LOVE your trading cards. I would have sooo collected those in the '60s (hell, I'd love to have 'em now). I hope your brother appreciated the effort.

Phewww! That'll teach me to stay away for so long...again! I hope you all had a great Christmas!

Trap-door Maker! I love the monster doodle! I'd never get a chance to do that at an office meeting!

Rainer! Lovely to see your artwork again and your Halloween countdown is impressive stuff. The Ardeth has to be my favourite out of a great bunch.

Curseofthewerewolf! Yeah...Steve Austin! The heavy line style is just perfect for print and your drawing wouldn't have gone amiss for an advert back then.

John! I love that texture in the Karloff portraits.

Hi Haveapotato! Nice work on the Thesiger, Frankie and "Kong" drawings!

Goss! A fantastic portrait of Geddy and a lucky person getting him as a present! Cool! And great touches on the SRV portrait and Ruffalo Hulkster.

Sly Fox! You really know how to capture action and drama within inked lines. Will there be any more?

Mike! Oh, those lucky people that get one of your paintings! The Rocky portrait is a winner, especially those eyes!

long live kong! Nothing cooler than receiving a home made Christmas Card!

Monolith! Can I be your brother?  ;D  A wonderful throwback to my youth and please create some more soon.
