That's really cool (and different!).  You never cease to amaze me.  BTW, my wife said she would buy a frame for my Frank painting you did - but I have to wait til my birthday :(.

Thanks, UP I appreciate it!! I'd like to see that frame once you get it.

Gossamer

Mike I love it but then again I love everything you do.  You've got a quality that just can't be beat.

In my little spare time these days I worked out a lumbering monster sketch.

I haven't sketched in what seems like a year or so.  Real rusty.

Unknown Primate

Goss - I absolutely freakin' dig that emerald Frank!  I really love unique shots of the Monster like this!  Great work!

Goss; fantastic sketch!!! Really nice one! Great choice of color on this one.

Thanks Illoman and Unknown Primate.  I was totally inspired by those great over the shoulder shots that Alex Ross does.  So dramatic.  My Sideshow Frankie was kind enough to pose for me. LOL.   The result of him costantly tumbling over was  slightly off perspective but hey I "Sketched!!!" I plan on doing so more pencils as time permits.  Glad you guys liked it.

Unknown Primate

LOL!  You know, I thought he resembled the SS Frank!  Very cool!  Nice of him to pose for ya!

Up.  Frankie poses for me often as he is the closest thing to Life drawing as I get!  LOL

Well here is a tiny sketch I worked on last night it is 2 1/2 inches square.  For me that is working quite small.

Lee from Dracula Has Risen.

Unknown Primate

Excuse my lanquage, but HOW in the HELL did you do that?!  That's fantastic!

Gossamer

Thanks Unknown Primate.  I wanted to get my sketching refreshed somewhat.  I tend to enlarge when I draw so I tried hard to keep the image small.  Plus the help of a fine mechanical pen so I could detail abit and not worry about keeping the pencil sharp.

  Hell I got lucky!! LOL

UP, Goss is an extremely talented artist who just keeps getting better and better!! This sketch is a perfect example: everything you need to know that this is Chris Lee is *right* there! Great job, brother!!

Earth 2 Chris

After well over a decade, I put my pencil down and picked up a paint brush again. Thanks to Kirk Hammett's lovely book, and lots of exposure here, I was inspired by great monster artist like Basil Gogos, to try my hand at THE movie monster. I'm no Gogos by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, especially after over a decade of rust accumulation!

E 2 C - That's a great Frankie!  Are you gonna be able to start painting again?
