         Remember this chair? Well boys & girls---the standing bid on said chair has reached $700! there was a big doings called "Art In The Park" held down on the Green Space near the old fashioned amusement park "Arnolds Park" on August 2nd and all 7 chairs were on display for passers-by to bid on. Bidding is still going on until the 16th. The only thing that could be better about this chair was that if the money was going to line me own pocket instead of going into the coffers of the Iowa Lakes Community Theatre.

Meek, I'm not surprised it went for that much. It was beautiful!! Sigh, I wish they would have seen fit to give you *something* for all that work. Such it is with artists....

Spent some time here this morning trying to get caught up with fine art. Wow! I'm blown away. I really am. Frank, what can I add that hasn't already been said? Amazing! Mike, Terry B, and Meek, and others who I'm forgetting .. you guys are so dang talented. I sure wish I could paint something other than the side of a barn. Keep 'em coming! Bravo!

    Prismacolor? Terra Incognito to me, Frank---do they blend at all or do they dry too fast for a bit of a swipe n' smudge blending? Probably depends on the weight of the paper, eh?
