Nice work on the Shock Monster/Monstrously Disturbed cover designs, UP!. I'd like to see Bigfoot Vs Frankenstein! But I did wonder what "bloodcurling" was like?  :D

Unknown Primate

Oops!  Uh, yeah - Blood Curling is a bodybuilding exercise for monsterly freaks of science?  Yeah, yeah - that's it!  Works the biceps!  Yeah!  :D

Glad you like it, anyway, Mark - that's a great compliment coming from you.  Thanks!

That's a great Chris Lee! I think the last thing I saw him in was HUGO, he was great in it, probably his most friendly character.

horror1o1!  Very cool stuff of nightmares! Definately the person to do t-shirt/poster designs.

Rainer! A terrific way to celebrate Sir Lee's birthday.

My companion piece to the Quentin drawing.

Marker pens and goauche on paper.

Illoman

Rainer, always enjoy seeing another one of your fine drawings!

Markchro, another stellar illustration as well.

I received these from UP and had to share.  Hope that is ok Mark.  Sorry for the crappy photography job.

Man, UP those Creatures are off the charts!!! He is a bear to draw and you nailed his likeness, while putting your own stamp (no pun intended!) on him! Great job!!!!  ;D

Man, there are some insanely talented folks here! It's great to see all of the new stuff posted. Mind-blowing.

I thought I'd share some monster-related things I've done in recent years. I've worked with Cast-A-Way toys on many of their toy packages. Below is the package concept for their proposed 8" Buster Crabbe Flash Gordon figure:

This is for a werewolf figure Cast-A-Way did a limited run on a while back. I tried to emulate the look of the Tomland monsters, and that famous monster coloring book by the same artist (whose name escapes my swiss cheese mind at the moment). This was a lot of fun:

This is a pin-up I did for my old friend and Shooting Star Comics colleague Scott McCullar, using his Thrillseeker characters Yellow Jacket and Emerald Mantis. I hope to one day work on a story involving these classic monsters used as Nazi pawns.

And finally, a personal drawing for my horror-minded pal Bobby.

Thank you very much Illoman! ;D

Michblk! Many thanks for showing UP's pictures! I really like the menacing lighting effect on the Sasquatch and the superdetailing on the Creech drawings!

Earth 2 Chris! Outstanding stuff sir! Did the Buster Crabbe or Wolfman figures ever materialise? The Thrillseeker pin-up is beautifully inked and action-packed!

Earth 2 Chris

Thanks markchro! Quite a compliment coming from you!

The Cast-A-Way Wolfman did appear in limited quantities. It was more of a multiple custom run than a true production figure. Jason Schiremeyer sculpted new furry limbs onto an existing Mego-type frame.

The Buster Crabbe Flash has sadly not made it out yet. Cast-A-Way did distribute some of the Go Hero 12" Buster-as-Flash figures, though.
